What Students Think About NAIT

Finding out what students think about a college or university is always a good idea in your search for your study in Canada destination. So what do students think about NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology)? What do they think about their programs, student life and employment opportunities once they graduate? These are all important questions to ask.

NAIT students have lots of positive things to say about NAIT. Student surveys with Collegedunia.com give NAIT a 8.9/10 score. That is a fantastic score for any institution to have. One international student had this to say,

“I searched all the best schools and I found NAIT on top. I did graduation from India in sciences and decided to pursue further studies in Canada. I heard a lot about NAIT that most of the students got placements in different industries from NAIT. I checked all the requirements and luckily, I fulfilled all those requirements and finally got admission.”

The Canadian city, Edmonton, which is home for NAIT is also my hometown and NAIT has always been one of our pride and joy institutions. Right up there with the University of Alberta, we are proud of the calibre of education that NAIT offers its students.

And of course, being an Albertan, I know some of their graduates. I am so proud of this young lady, someone I know personally, who has just graduated with a Diploma in Chemical Technology. Just a week before she graduated, she even landed her first job as a Research Assistant at NAIT. She wrote this testimonial a few months before she graduated from NAIT.

“At the beginning, NAIT was not my first choice for post secondary education. However, after attending a presentation from the Chemical Technology program at my high school, I knew immediately that it was the post secondary institution for me.

What I love most about NAIT is the community it cultivates. Unlike some other schools, NAIT has a smaller campus, which in turn allows students to form better relationships with each other and staff. The NAIT Student Association always has fun, interesting events for students to participate in, even during the pandemic, which I think contributed overall to an enjoyable, fulfilling post secondary experience.

Most importantly, NAIT has ongoing relationships with employers who are actively seeking NAIT graduates. Currently, I am working in a petroleum laboratory for a Canadian oil and gas company as a Co-Op student and in January 2022, I will start my last semester at NAIT before graduation. NAIT, along with the Chemical Technology program, helped facilitate this employment opportunity for me and I believe this employment opportunity will lead to success in the industry.

I am proud to be a NAIT student and future alumna!”

So there you have it, what others are saying about one of Canada’s top research polytechnic institutions. But why just read their stories, think about being a NAIT student, graduating from NAIT and being one of those students who can share their story about this fine Canadian polytechnic.

NAIT offers over 200 degrees, diplomas, and certificates programs in Business, Medical, Computer Science and Engineering Technology. NAIT, with its state of the art technologically advanced labs and classrooms can help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to improve your employment opportunities.
