Study in Canada: Medical Post-Graduate Diplomas for International Students

  • Diploma in Clinical Trials Management - Clinical Trial Managers are needed in medical or educational institutions, and laboratories where oversight of all aspects of the trial are required. International students with an academic background in health sciences, medicine, nursing or science may be considered for admission.

  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management - Occupational Health & Safety Managers work in both the public and private sector, keeping employees safe and advocating for a health work environment. Graduates of the Occupational Health & Safety Management program will acquire an understanding of legislation, occupational illnesses, workplace hazards, workplace safety and wellness management skills and evaluation and control techniques. International students with a degree in health sciences, engineering, environmental science, management and organizational studies or a related field may be considered for admission. Working in Canada After Graduation

Applicants should consider combining two of these 1-year diplomas into make up 2 years to meet the PGWP eligibility. If you are passionate about medicine or health occupations, then you may want to consider studying the Diploma in Clinical Trials Management and the one in Occupational Health & Safety Management or combine one of the above diplomas with one from Western’s Continuing Studies’ management to further your management skills and knowledge.
